Get Your First Players

Players in FoxLeague are NFTs on MultiversX. Each player has a unique nonce (the FXLP collection), a name, a position, a rarity, a country, and seven trainable stats.

When you register, you pay 2.2 xEGLD once and receive 18 players distributed across positions and rarities by a fair selection algorithm:

  • By rarity: 10 Common + 4 Uncommon + 2 Rare + 1 Epic + 1 Legendary
  • By position: 2 GK + 6 DEF + 6 MID + 4 FWD
  • Equitable spread: every position gets exactly one “special” (Legendary/Epic/Rare) and one Uncommon — no position is left with only Commons. Which position gets the Legendary vs Epic vs Rare is fully randomized.

The flow:

  1. After connecting your wallet, you go through Onboarding (pick team name, generate badge)
  2. Approve the 2.2 xEGLD registerAndPay transaction in your wallet
  3. Watch the pack-reveal animation — all 18 players appear card-by-card in your Squad

Need testnet xEGLD to cover the registration fee? Use the official MultiversX testnet faucet — it’s free.

Higher rarity = higher ceiling. A Common player will never break stat 50 even with infinite training. To grow further, you fuse them into a higher-rarity player (Fusion docs coming soon).

  • Name + shirt number — editable once you own the player
  • Position — GK, DEF, MID, or FWD (immutable)
  • Country flag — immutable, decorative
  • 7 stats — Speed, Accuracy, Defense, Power, Control, Vision, Stamina (all 1-99, capped by rarity)
  • Level — grows with experience, unlocks visual perks
  • Condition — 0-100, drops with matches/training, recovers ~4 points/hour to 100
  • Career stats — Matches, Goals, Assists, Saves, Tackles, Passes, Shots (auto-tracked)

Every player shows an OVR number — the average of their seven stats. It’s a quick read on overall strength. A Legendary at OVR 95 is elite. A Common at OVR 50 has hit their ceiling.

OVR is what the simulator effectively cares about — but it cares per-position too, so a high-Defense Defender beats a high-Defense Forward.

The starter pack of 18 covers any standard formation with bench depth (4-4-2 / 4-3-3 / 3-5-2 / 5-3-2 / 4-2-3-1 all need 11 starters + a few subs). The 2GK / 6DEF / 6MID / 4FWD distribution ensures you can field any of these out of the box.

The Marketplace is the only place to expand or rotate your squad after registration:

  • Sell players you don’t need (e.g. you have 6 DEF but want a 3-5-2 formation that needs only 3)
  • Buy players from other team owners — listings show on-chain stats, you pay in FOXSY

You can also fuse two same-position players into one of higher rarity (read Sync to Chain for fusion prerequisites).
