Match Types
FoxLeague offers three competitive contexts. All three follow the same core rule: synced stats only.
Casual
Section titled “Casual”The relaxed mode. No ELO change, no consequences other than XP and career stats updates.
- Best for — testing tactics, training XP grinding, watching the simulator
- Cost — match action only consumes player condition (5 per appearance)
- Award — XP for all 11 starters, regular career stats
Pick this when you’re learning your squad or experimenting with formation/lineup.
Ranked
Section titled “Ranked”The competitive mode. ELO points move between you and your opponent based on the result.
- Best for — climbing the leaderboard, qualifying for league promotions
- Matchmaking — opponents in your league bracket
- ELO — wins gain points, losses lose points, draws split. Larger gap → smaller swing.
You see your ELO in the header and on the Leaderboard tab. The leaderboard ranks all players in your league.

Tournament
Section titled “Tournament”Multi-match formal events. You commit a lineup at join time and play through brackets.
- Locked lineup — at tournament join, the simulator takes a snapshot of your synced stats. All matches in the tournament use that snapshot, even if you sync more after joining.
- Why? — fairness. Otherwise, the deepest pockets win the late rounds by paying for sync before the final.
- Training during a tournament — totally allowed. Train, sync, get ready for what comes after the tournament. Just won’t affect this tournament’s matches.
- Locked players — you can’t enter a player into a different match (casual or ranked) while they’re in a tournament. They unlock when the tournament finishes or you’re eliminated.
Tournaments are where the most FOXSY trades hands — entry fees pool into prize money distributed to top finishers.
Match History
Section titled “Match History”Every match you play lands in History. Click any row to see:
- Final score, top performers, possession breakdown
- Stat bumps gained per player
- Full FoxViewer replay (the playback you saw live)
- The lineup snapshot used for the match (so old replays render with the right stats, not your current ones)
Marketplace
Section titled “Marketplace”Buy and sell players (NFTs) for FOXSY.

Listing a player
Section titled “Listing a player”- Open the Marketplace tab → Sell sub-tab
- Find the player in your roster
- Click List for Sale, enter price in FOXSY, confirm
Buying a player
Section titled “Buying a player”- Marketplace → Browse sub-tab
- Filter by position, rarity, OVR, price
- Click a card to see details
- Click BUY — FOXSY transaction, on confirm the NFT moves to your wallet
Marketplace buys have NO transfer cooldown — you paid full price, you can play with the player immediately.
Wallet-to-wallet transfers
Section titled “Wallet-to-wallet transfers”If someone sends you a player NFT directly (not through the marketplace), the player has a 24h cooldown before you can use them in matches. This is anti-snipe protection — prevents someone from buying a stacked player off-marketplace and immediately stomping a tournament with them.
The PlayerCard shows the cooldown countdown if active.
Recent Sales feed
Section titled “Recent Sales feed”The Recent Sales widget on Marketplace shows the latest completed sales — what sold, for how much, who bought. Useful for price discovery before you list your own.
